Important Information for DeltaX Hacks Participants

Hello and welcome all participants! 

 

Welcome to DeltaX Hacks! We are excited to see all the wonderful projects you or your teams come up with! Before we get started tomorrow morning, we'd like to mention a few things. Please join the Discord Server ASAP (https://discord.gg/Y8gruB8), as we will not count your project if we cannot see you on the Discord. That being said, when you join, set your nickname to your real name so we can identify you. For further rules and etiquette, see the rules on our Devpost page and #rules on our Discord server.

 

We will be hosting 4 workshops throughout the course of the weekend: Javascript, HTML/CSS/JS Chrome Extension, Oculus VR and Computer Vision, and a tech leader panelist group. If you are well-versed in application development and already have a plan for your project, you do not have to attend the Javascript or HTML/CSS/JS Chrome Extension workshops; however, if you are interested in HTML or are a beginner in programming, it is highly recommended to attend. The Oculus and Tech Leader Panelist workshops are super interesting and relevant to the practical world, and you will not be able to find this kind of valuable information anywhere else. We will also have a mini quiz at the end of the Oculus and Tech Leader Panelist workshops, and the people who do the best will win a prize from our 25k prize pool.
